The opening ceremony for the 37th Fajr Theater Festival has been set to be held on February 11 in the Iranian capital city of Tehran.
Hundreds of artists, writers, experts, and theatrical troupes are to attend the opening ceremony.
Foreign participants are also scheduled to hold professional workshops on the sidelines of the event.
The annual Fajr International Theater Festival has been held in Iran since 1983, featuring local and international theatrical works and performers.
The festival is held during the Fajr Celebrations, which marks the anniversary of the ten days from the return of Imam Khomeini, founder of the Islamic Republic, to Iran (February 1) until the victory day of the Islamic Revolution (February 11) in 1979.
The 37th edition of the event is slated for February 11-23, 2019.
